Latest Photo Shoot

I thought I'd post a preview of today's photo session with my friend Heather. She is a finalist to be in a new reality show that is described as a combination of Survivor and Amazing Race. Heather asked if I'd take some portraits for her portfolio. We visited Downtown Carrollton and had a great time with the shoot.

The Snow Cone Lady

Every year we look forward to summertime, and The Snow Cone Lady is one of the reasons. She has this little stand on the side of a busy street in the middle of town that always has two or three cars in front. She makes the best snow cones I've ever had, which is why we always gain weight in the summer. She's not shy with the syrup. She pours and pours and then pours some more. Sometimes I can't finish my snow cone because it's so sweet. Mmmm...
I always get Tigers Blood and Rob always gets half grape, half blue coconut (except for this evening, when he ordered just plain grape). Sometimes I want to ask her for "the usual" to see if she'd remember our order.
She'll be here until October! Come on over and get a super snow cone!

Study of a Boy in Motion

My Little Sister

There was too much exposure on these shots. I need to do some more reading...

First Photo Shoot

Today I was able to take some pictures of Kelly. We wanted to get some pictures before she had the baby, which could be any day! She is so beautiful! The photo shoot was fun, but surprisingly tiresome.

In this first photo, I used natural light without the flash.
And in this photo, I used the flash. You can see the difference it made in the shadows on her face. Aww, you look so worried, Kelly!
We ended up taking 123 pictures this afternoon! It's easy to get carried away.
